Social Networking, Anyone?

I know this one is something an old thing to all internet people out there. And not even the computer enthusiasts are aware of this Social Networking in the internet, even high school students, or maybe those in the intermediate school, made Friendster a homework or assignment in their class.

We know about Friendster, mySpace, Facebook and a lot more of these today. And now, there is also one very popular nowadays, Twitter. Even the President of the USA, Barack Obama has a Twitter account. So, I also decided to have mine, too.

Twitter is not only a social network site, as they say, but also a blog site. Micro-blogging is actually what they call it, which accepts posts of only 140 characters, which they call, "tweets".

Tweets are posted with anything. It can even have links to another website, photos and even videos. Tweets can be made posted from the web, mobile phones via SMS and other applications available. So anywhere, even when you are away from the computer or there is no available internet connection, say a wifi hotspot, as long as you have a phone capable of sending an SMS, you can post "what you are doing now?".
