First Job in Manila

After graduation, a friend of my father who runs a company in Manila gave me my first job.

The company basically deals with microfilming, selling machines and archiving records. But as they expand the business, they also put in the line some computer related equipments and digital copy machines. The job suits best for the course I took in school.

I was charged to maintain the good condition of machines like microfilm camera, processor, duplicator, and other micro machines. Later in my job, I learned more about computer related things like projectors and digital copy machines.

My assignments were within the metropolis. Maintaining machines at the banks, the security agencies, schools, etc. I was even sent to other cities nationwide, where there are installations and microfilming projects.

For three years, I stayed in Manila to work for the company. But the management decided to put-up a branch office in the south. And that was the next assignment for me, to be the area technical man.
